Jack Johnson
We have two Noritsu HS-1800 scanners with separate computers and EZ-Controllers. We had both scanners adjustet and calibrated by a Noritsu technician a couple of months ago, but we have now found out that both scanners stretch the scans by aprox. 5% when we are scanning 120. Any thoughts and could it be anything else than a wrong calibration?
davidlam
2 different 120AFC ? IF two, try swop / swap the 120AFC to see if problem goes to another HS-1800 .... This can isolate AFC roller possibilities could be one 120AFC still with genuine rollers while another 120AFC with China-made rollers
Jack Johnson
Two different 120AFC - one for each scanner. (The scanners are bought from two different suppliers) We have tried to use "120AFC A" on "Scanner A", "120AFC B" on "Scanner A" and vice versa. The stretch is exactly the same. Dave S
It is normally caused by non genuine rollers that end up slipping on the shaft.
