Digimati
My Noritsu 3301 not working properly. I have this problem every day. I usually load two paper cartridges in the printer, A-10.2cm glossy and B- luster 10,2cm. If I want to change ans put, for example, 15.2cm paper in the printer and open the door, the warning "the printer door is open, close the door" does not appear on the screen. And now if I put the 15.2 cartridge in the printer and close the door, it does not recognize it, but still shows that there is 10.2 paper in the printer. The only way to use the 15.2 cartridge is to do a windows restart for the entire system. After that I can use a 15.2cm cartridge. Another problem is with filling large orders. If there are a few hundred or more images in one order, at some point the printer simply stops printing. In this case, the printer doors remain locked and I need to restart Windows again. Sometimes, but not always, I find that the cutted paper has stopped before entering the laser and the uncut paper has not been wound back into the cassette. I have repeatedly cleaned the paper sensors but with no results. And sometimes, for example, when the paper runs out in the middle of the order and I select "restart" and put the loaded cartridge in the printer, it displays a really confusing result, for example, 10.2-3 instead of the previous 10.2-1. Some time ago I cleaned and cut all ARCNET optical cables, scanner and PCB but no result.

Kmit
Hi, you have some problems with the optical fiber. When you have a fiber problem it's usually only one, cutting all the fibers can only make the problem worse and and the length decreases. Menu: 2260 → Extension → Maintenance → System Version Check The OK must not blink. You start by cutting the fiber of the scanner (in and out) and and see if you solved it, you continue cutting in pairs (in and out). I hope you know how to cut and clean fibers and that you have the official tools. Best regards
