CatLABS
Setting up a new acquired V30 machine. It came without any power whip, so i am in need of some assistance to best power this on US 110V power. I can set up a 3 phase outlet, but want to make sure the machine is jumpered/wired correct for this, however, i could only find the service manual page referring to powering for 230V Euro power. Is there a wiring option to power this with single phase 110V power? All help is welcome!

V30_supply.pdf 1.3 MB · 0 downloads Thanks for sending this. Can you advise on what is the best practice to connect this machine in the US? We can have a 240V socket (2 hot 120V) or a step up transformer (least favorable due to power rating). Which of the wiring options would fit our need? Thanks! kodak_service
Both options will work, but a 240 volt socket is better.

So you are saying the three phase three wire option is the best one, but in this case, L1 (hot 120V) L2 (hot 120V) L3 (Neurtal???) + Earth (4th wire) Thanks
kodak_service
No, you misunderstood me. You need the option "Single-phase, two-wires (AC 200V-AC 240V)".
CatLABS
But in this case, how do i achieve 200/240V from a 110V wall line? Thanks
kodak_service
You cannot connect the Film Processor to a household electrical outlet. You need an industrial socket. Electricity is connected to it according to the diagram below. Dave S

The 240V supply is usually achieved as in your diagram from the 2 hot 120AC supplies.

Thanks The 2 hot 120V supplies what you need to give you 240V. S0 +120V goes to terminal L1 -120V goes to L2. The Earth/ ground will go to E
kodak_service
You must connect according to the corrected scheme Dave S

Yes of course, my electrician is coming to set up a three phase socket near the machine, my question is partly answered by this diagram, thanks Can you tell me what the L1, L2 L3 / R S T would get in this case?
