FP232B Replenishment issue

I recently noticed that my 232 NS1 was not pumping enough when running the Pump Output Test (40ml instead of 56). I can't really find anywhere in the repair literature that specifically addresses this. I did find a section that mentions in Japenglish:

"The actual replenishment timing is corrected by changing the difference between the reference value and the actual discharge volume measured by “Output check” into the number of film."

So as I would understand it when I put the actual amount into the Pump Output Check chart, it will increase the frequency at which the pump is run? Can anyone confirm (or deny) this?

As a work-around I've been running the output test twice every 8 36 exp/120 film- sort of manually replenishing N1.

Change the value in the pump output check to 40 - by running the test the machine just runs the bellow pump for 30 seconds, so by entering 40ml you tell the processor the actual measured value and it corrects how often the pump is run. Also the NS1 bath on the fp232 is just water anyways so it wont affect your films too much!

Ah okay, thank you- I do need to correc the post as it's actually N1-R, so does the same pump output correction apply to the replenisher?

yes, also applies to n1-r. if the output gets even lower, maybe consider cleaning the nozzle, the hoses that lead from and to the bellow pump and the bellow itself. Especially with the n1 this can get clogged after a long time of usage with these old machines.
