KubusPhoto
Hi I have a lab with the following machines and we occasionally need a technician. Anyone here local that would be available? The lab is in Greenpoint, Brooklyn Machines: QSF-V40P B&W (currently need this serviced for a recurring #24 error) QSF-V50 QSS-34PRO If you’re able to help and are interested I can be reached on 718-840-7392
Minilab service
QSF-V40P doesn't exist. Can be QSF-V30P and QSF-V50P . Error 24 can fix yourself. It can cause faulty processor cover switch, or faulty pump ( doesn't rotate, or faulty pump rotation sensor ) . If pumps really rotate then error 24 temporary can disable - service mode, FLOPPY/STANDARD SETTING, STANDARD SETTING 3, PUMP ERROR , ON/OFF . If select OFF - error 24 will not appear. In any case we still need a tech in the NYC area to call up every so often
Minilab service
To enter service mode need insert Noritsu service floppy. Then on keyboard press SHIFT, + , - , +, YES. To have service mode always turn off film processor with breaker. Then on main control pcb (J340033) DIP switch DS2 section number 2 turn ON. Error disable only temporary and if pumps really rotate ( when removed filters should see liquid rotation ) . You need to fix problem, which cause error. When error is disabled you will not see when some pump stop to work. Without working pump film processing might be bad. Also heater can overheat and burn. Check pumps connectors. They might be dirty, or have bad contact. Often this error causes high resistance between contacts on the processor lid micro-switch. Can turn iff film processor and check resistance on microswitch connector with multimeter ( 0 ohm when pressed ) . To test film processor can use input check, or output check menu.
