NYCFL
We recently acquired a B&W converted Noritsu V30 and need help deciding what chemistry to use, especially for the wash. I am currently thinking about using Xtol as the developer and Kodak rapid fixer with a hardener since we are using it in a roller transport system. I am just not sure whether I should use a permawash or clearing agent or if I should just use water. The alternative could be using a rapid fixer without a hardener but figured using a fixer with a hardener would be better since it is in a roller transport system and has risks of getting scratched, Does anyone have experience using a roller transport type B&W machine and have chemical recommendations? Minilab service
What are processing times in each tank, or in CD tank? After conversion rack length left standard, or in any tank used shorter rack? Piping left standard, or it was changed also? Have to know all that to recommend chemicals.
Dave S
You definitely need to use a fixer with hardener, just use standard C41 stabiliser for the wash tanks.
