MILTON LOVERA
HOW IS THE EXPERIENCE WITH THE NORITSU QSS-3501i PLUS iBEAM, IS IT GOOD? IS IT BAD? IT WOULD BE WORTH BUYING IT AT THIS TIME, THE MACHINE'S COUNTER IS 470,000 PRINTS, THE PRICE IMPOSED BY THE SELLER IS 10,000 DOLLARS
Minilab service
Hello. Do not buy it. On QSS3300i instead laser used iBeam. It is wide ( wider, than a paper ) . If one light element will be broken you need to buy another iBeam. iBeam can buy only from Noritsu and it is very expensive ( Noritsu part number Z024775 ) . You will not find used iBeam. There are two iBeam models - QSS3300i and QSS3501i, but iBeams are not exchangable. iBeam light is not uniform, so on paper need to make uniformity ( using flatbed scanner ) . Price is very high. Normally at this price can buy 2 QSS3300 laser minilabs. QSS3300i can work only with film scanner. Doesn't exist software to use minilab without it. If you want QSS3300 then buy model with laser. If laser broken it can be repaired. Also this model can be used without film scanner.
Kmit
The price is high for me. The problem is the Ibeam, If you had problems with the Ibeam I don't think you would find it new again. In Italy you can buy one 32xx with 10000 euros

MILTON LOVERA
I am from Bolivia, here they do not sell many machines, it is difficult to find them, I want to buy one since I have been using Epson printers for a long time, now that I have the opportunity to buy a minilab I would like one that is profitable but I don't know much about the models, there are many years I worked in a photographic studio but I only got to use a qss-23 and a qss-2611 both with the D-CARRIER. That was more than 8 years ago, I was just looking for advice from the forum of professionals on the subject, but I will opt for the qss-3301 because it is a laser and spare parts such as the laser are found on ebay, as for the software, it is with Windows XP, it's a matter of getting used to the system I think. I thank you in advance for taking your time to respond, and discard the qss-3501i plus since spare parts are very scarce. thanks to all greetings from Bolivia Edited May 3 by MILTON LOVERA

yustas
Thank you for writing in English. I do not recommend buying a qss33 series lab for 10,000 USD. It is very expensive. If you have a budget around that amount, you would be better off looking at the qss32 series, and you will offer more service to your customers and get your money back faster on this investment. Contact me if you need more information about Noritsu, and I'll do my best to help you make the right choice.
