boolter19
Hello everyone, I really hope you will help me. I have a QSS 3203 mini Lab working since '00 which produces the products I live with. Ten days ago win2000 did not start. An error is detected in System32/config/systemced. When I enter the BIOS to try to fix it with restore procedure, I am prompted for Administrator password" . Unfortunately I cannot have this password, do you know a way to avoid entering the password or do you know the default password? (I don't think it has ever been changed since the first installation in 2005). Another question: is there a possibility of operating the QSS3203 with a new PC with modern features? On the internet I have seen that some people print through modern operating systems, but where do I find the drivers and all (I mean every single little thing making possible the machine works properly) the machine settings (id photo, frames, Red Eye etc)? I also saw that noritsu releases a new version of EZ controller, do you know if it is complete with drivers and pre-set settings? I will be able to print right after the setup installation? It costs a lot of money but I am quite desperate. I will close soon. Thanks to everyone who can answer me.

There install EZ controller and print digital orders. On this computer can install optional modules, which installed on minilab internal computer. If need help, or more information - write private message.
boolter19
Good morning guys, thanks a lot for your reply. The password kodak service told me was correct...incredibile!! Amazing.. Anyway i still have some issue. Now I solved the system32 problem but win2000 doesn't start. Once he load up the pc does a reboot, always the same. Do you have any advice for that? For @minilab service: I am interested in installing ez controller on a new modern computer. At the same time I am very frightened by this change. I am afraid that I will no longer be able to print due to missing drivers, software etc. The thing that scares me the most are the machine settings (chemistry values, pumps, sensors etc). Are those to be reset as well, or do they remain saved? Right now, I still have the original pc with win2000. Also, besides the EZ controller software, will I need any other software? Thank you very much for your help. I would be interested in purchasing the software. Do you know if the one available on the Noritsu site is ready to use or do I need other software? Thanks again to everyone really really helpful! Great guys here :D

Personally I would carry out a PC recovery to reinstall Windows from scratch, then reload the Noritsu software. If you do this make sure you have a working backup of the Noritsu data before you start.
Minilab service
system32 problem have when system file increased and reached 10 MB. After that during startup Windows can't read it. It happened, because on internal computer used USB. Each USB leaves records and step by step system file increased. Solution is do not use USB on internal computer, time after time clean registry ( to remove records about USB keys ) , or enter bigger maximal system file limit ( default is 10 MB ) . If to print digital orders from external computer then system file will not increase. Minilab internal computer will work in background and all will be done on external computer. Picture processing and sending to print will be very fast
