Minilab service
6901-2008 means no ARCNET communication with D-ICE Control PCB and processor. Probably is bad connection between printer control pcb and processor control pcb.. Then you have noise and all system doesn't work properely. Disconnect ARCNET from processor control pcb. Then run ARCNET diagnostic software. Select minilab model, which you have ( QSS3412 or QSS3412SA ) . Make ARCNET diagnostic. Should be error only on processor board ( because it is disconnected ) . If all other system works you need improve processor ARCNET connections ( trim ends of ARCNET cables, clean sensors ) .

When you tell what you see there then can advise something. Could you please be a little more specific. I dont really know what processor pcb ARCNET is. Im Kind of a dummy. And also, is ARCNET test software different from the self test app? And another thing is how do I disable QSS autostart.
Minilab service
ARCNET - two plastic optical cables inserted into sensors on processor control pcb. Press and hold rings ( black and white ) and remove optical cables. Do not use force when removing. Remove only when holder released ( ring pressed ) . ARCNET test is other software. Disable QSS Autostart ( remove QSS icon from Windows start menu ( Start - Programs - Startup ) . Then go into Noritsukoki folder. There find SelfCheck.exe . Here is software to test ARCNET. Run ARCNET diagnostic software. Select minilab model, which you have ( QSS3412 or QSS3412SA ) . Make ARCNET diagnostic. Should be error only on processor board ( because it is disconnected ) .
