Labcat
We bought this V30P recently and it works fine except that the level in STB3 constantly is going down and draining into the waste tank. Sometimes it is fine for 20 minutes at other times we have to top up the level after five minutes. Draining seems to occur only while the circulation pumps are running. Any thoughts on what could be the problem?
Minilab service
Probably level goes up - not down. Clean level sensors and test them on input check menu.
Labcat
No, it really is going down. I can see the level going down when running without the filter. If I keep the float artificially high to fool the sensor, the bath will go dry completely. It's a bit of a mystery,
yustas
Check all hoses and clamps for leaks. It may happen that solution is dripping from a loosely tightened clamp where the hose attaches to the pump and where the hose exits the tank. Also, I once encountered an almost invisible crack in the tank. So check it for cracks.
Labcat
I will check for cracks. The inside of the machine is dry and everything seems to be ending up in the waste tank. ( we're losing liters of liquid so it would not be hard to spot )
kodak_service
The cause of the leak is a crack in the radiator A202158. v30.pdf Edited October 27 by kodak_service
Dave S
It is usually caused by corrosion/ leaking on the stainless steel heat pipes that are in the STB 1 and STB 2 sub tanks.
