Error code R2

ERR-F1111-0 - LED temperature regulation error signal is turned on.  It can cause :
Temperature sensor is short- or open-circuited (harness to sensor is broken).
Output overcurrent.
Output overvoltage.
Overvoltage of power supply.
Voltage drop of power supply.
Coil temperature rise.
Abnormally low output voltage.
Firmware detects: It has taken more than 1 hour to gain target temperature (harness to peltier is broken).
Application detects: It has taken more than 50 minutes to gain target temperature.

For example: R2 A 'LED temperature regulation error' signal has been issued from temperature regulator circuit board (DMG-supplied) providing control over SEAD exposure unit heater and peltier; the error cannot be cleared unless main printer breaker is turned off. The error occurs only when printer is switched from run mode to timer or idle mode. This 'LED temperature regulation error' signal  occurs because it detects the overvoltage (over 12-V) between the heater for head and the peltier output voltage line. "

Check the connection of various cables connected to temperature regulator circuit board.
Check the connection of various cables  connected to exposure unit.
Replace temperature regulator circuit board.(2850YE600A)
Replace exposure unit. (2850YE600A)

More information can see on service manual, error list and technical Information document MCH-TI-04-790.

It is some problem with printing head, or image transfer.

Exposure head unit consists :
PLZT module
EXP-P-MAIN BOARD ( 2860H1300 )
EXP-P-VD BOARD ( 2860H1310 )
EXP-P-LED BOARD ( 2860H1320 )
To control temperature connected TEMPERETURE-CONTROL Board ( 2860H1350 )
Image to printing head goes through firewire card ( inside minilab computer ) and 1394TRM Board ( it is connected to exposure head -  2860H1300 ) .

Check all power suppliers. Look LEDs work, or not. If all good - need test all boards.
