Leds power

Here is LED unit for E-filming digital carrier. Black wire is power supply ( about 40V ) . Red, Green and Blue - wires for all three colors.

To film carrier connected 24V power supply. On board is DC-DC converter. There on input is 24V and on output - 40V .

Colors turn on FET transistors. They connects colors to ground. Transistors connected to PWM circuit. LEDs brightness intensity depends on pulse width.

LED unit should be attached to heatsink. Between LED unit and heat sink should be thermal paste.

If you going to use LED unit not inside E-filming then use lower power supply voltage.  If you connect R, G, or B directly to ground ( without PWM circuit ) then voltage should be lower. Otherwise LEDs burn.

If need I have one brand new E-filming LED unit.
