voice77 Posted October 4, 2025 Report Posted October 4, 2025 Hello, after complete damage my Toshiba PC I did stand alone reinstallation on MSI G41-P33 combo motherboard. Win2K, firewire driver and A1 software installation went without any problems but PC hangs up in time of software opening. It stops on first grey screen of FF software without any error messages. Any suggestions what could be the cause ? Thank you
Balázsovics Posted October 4, 2025 Report Posted October 4, 2025 Hello I'm not at home with sp3000's but i know my way around pcs Are you sure a stable version of every driver you need is installed especially graphic driver You can also clean the pads on the ram sticks, sometimes a bad connection can cause stuff like this Also that board is a hybrid make sure you only have either ddr3 or dd2 installed not both, i don't think it would even post with both types but you never know An unusual clock speed could also cause this now that i think about it, old programs like that with win 2k are really unstable with high cpu speeds I would look into getting a setup in that machine that's a gen older but the good stuff from back then, not the cheap crap from 2006 Or someone who did a pc swap can tell you the compatible builds I guess that means the program just said "this is too new for me" and crashed
Minilab service Posted October 4, 2025 Report Posted October 4, 2025 If you installed new Windows then try to select one processor core mode ( Uniprocessor PC ) . Also can use image file from original HD and find missing drivers. For SATA on BIOS settings should be selected IDE mode.
