Cheers everyone! I would like to ask regarding the QSS-Printer CD originally came with QSS 3801HD if I can also install this on QSS 3704HD. Your suggestion is very much appreciated.

Noritsu QSS Printer Software is system software for the Noritsu minilabs QSS35xx Plus series and QSS37xx series and NPS printers (G minilabs with direct emission lasers).
So you can use it with QSS37.

Can I able to perform paper registration setup by Qss- printer software alone without installing the EZ controller.

Yes, can do it, but to select paper need install profile data vol.3 CD.

The latest QSS printer - version 19.30 . The latest profile data - version 5.0 .

My QSS-Printer software is version 11. Is it possible to perform paper registration and printer output checks?

QSS printer version 11 is very old. It can be used on Windows XP, or Vista.
On W7 need version 13, or later
On W7 SP1 need version 14, or later.
On W8 need version 16.10 , or later
On W10 need version 18, or later
On W11 need version 19.30, or later.

Use newer QSS Printer. Version 11 and older do not have important adjustments ( for example highlight balance adjustment ) . It was added since version 12 .

You can run output/input check. To select paper on paper registration menu need install profile data vol 3 . Can use version, where is your paper. Newer versions have newer profiles and more papers.

How about the initial data 2 and 3, can I used data from other Qss CD with different serial numbers

Can I use the backup from QSS3702HD to QSS3704HD. Please advise

Even if modelel is the same you can't use other minilab backup. Backups are individual. Can load only initial data for your minilab ( backup from factory ) , or your minilab backup files. Do not use backup if serial number is different. If you load you loose your printer settings and they will be incorrect.

Minilab settings are stored on minilab boards, so you do not need to load backup. Need only if you changed board, or settings are lost.

I wrote that need to install profile data vol. 3 CD . Do not need to load initial data.

Open QSS printer and save your minilab settings . Make current minilab backup. When you have backup you easy can return settigs, which you have now.

I have asked all these questions because output checks on printer doesn’t respond anything but exiting from output checks, it initializes the mechanism inside the printer. Output checks in the processor are responsive. Check all versions of boards are readable. What is the problem why printer output checks not responsive while exiting from output check it initiated

What is your Windows version? On newer Windows QSS printer 11 can't work properely.

Might be on computer is older software version than it is on minilab. Need to match them. Look what you see on software version check menu.

On QSS printer make current minilab backup. When you have backup you easy can return settigs, which you have now.

My OS is Win10 64 bit. From software version check, all firmware of each pcb are readable. Not a single board appears nulled and void

Just currious - you told that latest profile is 4.82, but I have 5.00. How it can be? I have 4.80 and 4.82 also.

On W10 64 bit should be QSS printer version 18.00, or later. QSS printer version 11 is for Windows XP, or Vista. 
Your version is too old to use it on W10 64 bit. Now nobody use version 11.00 . I think on minilab will be newer version. It is not strange, that software doesn't work properely.  Look which versions you have on software version check.

Install your QSS printer on Windows XP. Then downgrade minilab internal software.
If want to use Windows 10 64 bit then use version 18, or later. The latest is version 19.30 . Versions on computer and minilab should match.

I have different versions of this software. But Minilab service also has them, so you should work with the person who helps you here.
