photostation1 Posted October 30, 2025 Report Posted October 30, 2025 QUESTION : CAN NET ORDER CONNECTION SOFTWERE RUN ON XP MACHINE
Minilab service Posted October 30, 2025 Report Posted October 30, 2025 (edited) Software works on XP, but NET Order mode on XP doesn't work properely. When NET Order doersn't work you can't print from external software, so can't use printer driver, Hotfolder, Net Order connection software and similar. All limits are on Windows XP ( not on software ) . Software on internal and external computers work, but software on one computer doesn't see software on other. If you find good IT engineer might be he can make connections. More easy is to run your computer using modified Windows 2000 PRO. This way can install quite new computers . I used new HP computer ( made about 2018 ) . Found all drivers, enabled all processor cores ( can be up to 32 cores instead of standard 2 cores ) , 8GB RAM ( instead of standard 4 GB ) and increased system file limit ( standard is only 10 MB ) . Noritsu Service Turkey Posted October 30, 2025 Report Posted October 30, 2025 İf you install XP sp1 net order is working
Minilab service Posted October 30, 2025 Report Posted October 30, 2025 Net Order works when you used Windows XP PRO version? Windows XP was without service pack, with service pack 1, with service pack 2 and service pack 3 . Did you install Windows XP SP1 PRO, or some orther version?
