Can someone help with what’s going on and how to help if possible? Our hs-1800 low and medium res scans are perfect but the high res and tiff are not as good as the medium and low res .. they are correct on resolution(highest settings). High res is 11mb per image which seems low but tiff is 174mb. When you zoom in on medium res is a lot clearer than high and tiff,  Can anyone help with this?
we have compared to another lab and their high res is so much clearer . Thanks

Hi thanks for the reply. I’m a little unsure what you mean? We had a focus tool test put in the machine and had it all set up correctly. All the graphs it shows were correct too apparently. All scans didn’t look great compared to another lab ( same negatives used in our lab and there’s). We adjusted the sharpness to -4 (the same as the other lab) and that solved low and medium res, but for some reason not high and tiff! It made them slightly better, but still not better than low and medium. Hopefully I’m making sense. Don’t get me wrong the scans are still pretty good , it’s just not compared to the other lab( apart from low and medium)

Thank you

It's hard to quantify what "so much clearer" means.
Can you upload a scan to wetransfer etc from both scanners (preferably the same image) so we can see better what the issue could be.

Also write down what DSA settings for contrast, sharpness, and graininess suppression are set to.
