PRINTLAB Posted November 7, 2025 Report Posted November 7, 2025 During the close down checks on machine 3411, I received an error with the number 6906-6080: “Failed to change the mode.” After several attempts to close it again, it finally succeeded. Could you please help me understand what might be causing this issue?
Minilab service Posted November 7, 2025 Report Posted November 7, 2025 6906-6080 means processor control pcb error during close down checks. Try to make software upgrade from HD for processior control pcb and check this board power suppliers. Also run ARCNET test software. If coinnection with some board is unstable then fix this connection. Bad ARCNET connection can cause noise and it it causes connection errors with others boards.

I checked the ARCNET connections and it turned out that the fiber optic cable had come loose at the computer.
