C4/C5 and C8 print size setup

I have a Frontier 340 which connects to a C4/C5 imaging controller. C8 Simple Print software is also installed on the imaging controller. I am having a difficult time adding new print sizes, specifically 4x4BD (102x102 on 102mm roll) and 5x4BD (102x127 on 127mm roll)-- both with 4mm border. They are both under the Group 2 list of print sizes. 

I add the print size using the menu on the Frontier 340 as normal. I can make prints from film at the new size. 

I restarted both the minilab and imaging controller. I cannot see the new sizes in the list when printing from media on the imaging controller. I updated the D:\C8Device\FdiaDevice.ini to include the new sizes. If I send a job file print order through C8 for the new print sizes, the order shows up in C4/C5 but no paper size is assigned.

I restart the imaging controller, the Fdiadevice.ini file reverts back to how it was, without the new sizes.

 

1. Is it even possible to use the Group 2 print sizes with C4/C5?
2. Should I be manually updating the Fdiadevice.ini file? Is there a way to make it automatically regenerate with the current size list from the minilab?
3. Am I making any other mistakes?

To exchange information with settings on scanner software need select to connect to imaging controller. Can do it on maintenance menu, or on pre-operation menu.
