SaymonFTL Posted November 19, 2025 Report Posted November 19, 2025 Hello everyone, for some time my scanner would only turn on if I tapped the left side, but a few days ago it simply stopped working and only the computer turns on, and to get the monitor to work I have to plug it in using an external power outlet. When trying to load the Fujifilm software, error message E-1423 appears (Failed to download the program from the image processing section). Could someone help me? Thank you.
Minilab service Posted November 19, 2025 Report Posted November 19, 2025 Probably you have SP2000 ( not 200 ) . Computer to 230 V a.c is connected directly. Monitor is connected through relay K1 . Through this relay connected DC power supply. Look is K1 ON, or OFF. K1 connected to connector PWR4 ( pin 6 and pin 7 ) on PWR20 board. Look if you see 24V d.c. voltage ( connector PWR3 - between contacts 1 and 2 ) . If 24V missing then look if you have 230V a.c on PW3. PW3 is connected to 230 V a.c. through fuse CP3 . If on PW3 you have 230V a.c , but on connector PWR3 missing 24 d.c then faulty sub power supply unit. SaymonFTL 1
SaymonFTL Posted November 20, 2025 Author Report Posted November 20, 2025 (edited) Thank you very much for the tips, I will do the tests tomorrow and come back here with feedback. Edited November 20, 2025 by SaymonFTL

First of all, I would like to thank you for the previous tip, because the technician ran the tests and concluded that the secondary power supply (model Densei Lambda JWS50-24/R) is indeed defective. However, the technician said he cannot repair it. I would like to know if you repair this type of power supply or if you have the contact information of a reliable seller so that I can buy another power supply for my scanner? Because the model I found online is the JWS50-24/A. And I don't know if it might be compatible with my scanner in any way.
Minilab service Posted November 22, 2025 Report Posted November 22, 2025 JWS50-24/R and JWS50-24/A are different. JWS50-24/R has remote control and JWS50-24/A is without it. I can repair this power supply, but I think you far from me. Sending both way might be more expensive, than other power supply. If you can't repair power supply I can offer working JWS50-24/R .
Minilab service Posted November 22, 2025 Report Posted November 22, 2025 If I understand well on sub power supply unit you have 230V a.c. input, but do not have 24V output. Ask your engineer to check if you have PWR3-ON signal. It should be on sub power supply unit small plastic two pin connector, connector PWR3 pin 3 and PWR10 pin 1. PWR3-ON signal should be about 5V ( PWR10 pin 1 ) . If you have input ( 230 V ) and PWR3-ON signal , but do not have 24V output then power supply is faulty.
