Thank U!

Thank U

It is not necessary to order head cables from Fuji, or Epson. Cables very expensive there. 15 pieces 1.5 m length cables online costs 32 EUR . To connect print head need 12 cables. Cables need to mark. If want can form them ( as original ) .

02010A08 means head hot error ( element A/B ) . Did you after replacement made Head Controller Board  B (DRV) software upgrade? It is necessary to do when change boards ( Mecha Controller Board (MCU) , Data Controller Board (MAIN) , Head Controller Board A/B (DRV) ) .

If board software upgraded, but still have error then from driver B disconnect A/B element cables ( CN21 and CN22 ) . Then start printer and look if you see error. If do not see error then faulty print head element ( A/B ) or this element cable. If see error when cable is not connected then faulty driver B .

Hahaa, too late :) Already ordered new cables, yes 450.00€  And no help :(

“Do you mean the update that takes place during the driver installation?”
I did some upgrades but not actually sure that everything went well.

Would you perhaps be able to send me the correct drivers tarmo@digifoto.ee? It would be big help.

The technician will come again on Tuesday, and then we’ll also try that cable-disconnect test.

“Thank you very, very much for your help!”

Do not need to upgrade any Windows drivers. I wrote about head driver BOARD B internal software upgrade. After board replacement is necessary to do it.

I have new system software ( version 3.07 ) . It can be used to upgrade internal software on all printer boards. New software is not necessary. Into driver B board you can load software which you have installed on your computer. If want to have new version - write private message.

If board internal software was not upgraded then do it first. Otherwise board can't work properely.
If board internal software upgraded, but still have error then disconnect two cables and run printer. Cables you can disconnect yourself. Just unplug cables connected to Head Controller Board B (DRV) connectors CN21 and CN22 .

You had load software from HD into head controller board B . Need do it using recovery utility. Hope your engineer did it. It is necessary to do when board replaced.

If board software loaded, head element disconnected and still have error then head controller board B is not working.

What you are taking about? On your computer you need to open recovery utility. It is on your computer and do not need to install anything.

Printer boards need firmwae. Do not need any drivers. Need open recovery utility and load frmware into Head Controller Board B DRV ( because youi changed it ) .

It is necessary to load firmware when replaced Mecha Controller Board (MCU) , Data Controller Board (MAIN) , Head Controller Board A/B (DRV) . If your engineer did not it then you have errors.

If do not know how to use recovery utility then can connect printer to other computer. There install older DL650 system software and register printer. Do not need to install MS01.
Because system software version will be different into all boards automatically will be loaded fimware. When you connect back to original computer ( where system software version is newer ) then firmware will be upgraded again. After that all boards have correct versions.
