majo73 Posted November 30, 2025 Report Posted November 30, 2025 Good day. I have two Fuji DX100 printers and one Epson D700. One DX100 has corrupted firmware (the printer shows error D1F2) and the other no longer communicates with the computer. Until recently both were working, but within three days they stopped functioning. I want to use the working mainboard from the Epson D700. Using the service software, I attempted to flash the Fuji firmware. I tried versions CP416I3.UPG and CP417J5.UPG. In the service program, the Printer Status still shows the original Epson firmware CB424I8. Could someone please advise me how to get the Fuji firmware into the mainboard? Thank you in advance for any help.
Minilab service Posted December 1, 2025 Report Posted December 1, 2025 (edited) Motherboard replacement will not solve D1F2 error. D1F2 usually means APG task error. Check the cable connection between the APG motor and the main board. Replace the APG unit. It is possible to load firmware on motherboard. Ask your software supplier to explain how to do it. majo73 Posted December 1, 2025 Author Report Posted December 1, 2025 Thank you for your reply. I will check the cable and the APG unit. I would like to ask whether you have the service software for sale. I have sent you a private message.
Minilab service Posted December 1, 2025 Report Posted December 1, 2025 The latest DX100 service software version 1.7.0 is the latest. You already have it. Nobody can't offer newer.

Were you able to do it successfully? I’ve tried flashing the firmware using version 1.7.1, but I’ve never been able to get it to work. When the firmware upload starts, all the LEDs on the printer light up and then gradually turn off. After the firmware has been flashed, the printer automatically restarts. When I flash Epson firmware, the process works correctly. However, whenever I try to upload Fuji firmware, it always fails.
