Hi Members, Please help me  I have a problem with my Noritsu QSS3202 machine. First it started having an error code 6073 and whenever it does so it prints a white blank photo. Even setup could come out white with no image on the paper. So I changed 2 AOMs ,the red and the green ones and it printed fine for the first 10 photos but after that the photos become like ghosts. Then when I did a daily setup the print comes out blue. I have tried changing AOMs to no success. Please help. There is no error messages at all. Only the print is blue.

I have tried the Initial setup but it gives me initial setup error and doesn't go to the next step.

Are you sure the AOM's you fitted are good?

Cyan prints means a lack of red exposure, which usually means a weak red AOM.

Try replacing the red AOM again

Thank you so much Daves.

Let me replace the Red AOM.  I bought two AOMs from the person who supplies us with photo paper but to my surprise they were not in a box.

They just looked new and I trusted him.

You are wrong. Weak red AOM - red photos.

Thank you for pointing out my error. Yes I made a mistake, cyan is caused by too much red exposure.

So what do you think is the cause of the problem?

There could be a variety of reasons. First, don't replace the AOMs with new ones; swap the red AOM with the green one. This will provide additional information.
It's also helpful to read the backup to troubleshoot any potential data errors.

It happens, sometimes AOM's can be faulty, it's hard to tell just from looking at them.

Go into Output Check, Printer, Engine section, click on R Laser Output ON, press Yes, look at the Pollygon Mirror Frequency, it should be a stable 1380
Do the same test for the G and B lasers. (It can take a few seconds on the G & B laser for the laser to output).

It may be possible only the red laser is outputting and the Green and Blue Lasers are not outputting, this would give you a cyan print.

A more through test would be to use the laser test software so you can see what the lowest percentage value each laser can operate at.

Good morning Dave.

Thank you for the advice.

Am going to work this morning and will do the Output Check and get back to you.

Thank you once again.

When I swapped the AOMs Red to Green and Green to Red, It brought an "Synchronous sensor error" Code 6073. And the daily setup print came out pure white.

When I cut a piece of photo paper and inserted it into the control strip it came out black.

It is necessary to replace the distant AOM (R) with a spare one.

The output check gives me this screen.

The Daily Setup when in service mode has given me this print.

Let me try another setup and update you.

The green part of the print is where there has been no green exposure.
It is a typical issue of an intermittently bad green AOM driver or bad green laser. It could also possibly be corrupt data.
After replacing the AOM's you should do the initial setup again.

Good day Members,

I put a 3rd new AOM to make sure that all AOMs are good but the same cyan print came out on daily setup.

I also put a new PCB for the laser but still the cyan print came out again.

I also used the backup data but did not help either.

I did both the INPUT and OUTPUT checks and they also showed fine.

Am very confused.

I will try to check the laser drivers today to see if they are the cause and then update you.

When doing the test on output check you must click R Laser Output ON, then click execute. Then check the polygon mirror frequency and Laser Synchronous Sensor status. Do the same test with the G and B lasers as well.

Paper specification registration paper came out like this. The first one being the one with different colour stripes and the other 2 which followed after.
