E-1234 means nip home position sensor(D407) is not turned ON when initializing NC135Y soft nip drive motor(M401). Can be problem with sensor, motor, CYA20 , CTB20 , fuses ( CP604 , CP103 ) , connections, power supply, mechanical problems ( belt, soft nip cam, etc ) .

Go to input check. Look sensor D704 status when it is opened and closed. You should see status changes ( light and dark ) .

If sensor works then go to output check. There run motor M401 . Look if it runs.

If motor works then here you have some mechanical problem ( belt, or something else ) .
