cgdsdmrblk Posted December 27, 2025 Report Posted December 27, 2025 The issue raised under this heading is currently continuing as E608 error. unfortunately, the problem has not been resolved. As you can see in the video, after the machine has been running for a while, this noise comes from the motor or circulation pump. It then displays the e608 error. My friend disconnected the motor from the pump and checked it for any blockages, etc., but we saw that it was in perfect condition. What my friend is wondering is why this sound doesn't come immediately while working, but comes later. what do we need to do step by step? i need your help with this. https://streamable.com/8yj4l4
yustas Posted December 27, 2025 Report Posted December 27, 2025 You have a pump with several rotating impellers, and I am sure that one of them has something like a washer, nut, or stone (old pieces of fossilised chemical reagents). You will need to remove the entire pump and manually inspect each impeller to find the foreign object.
Minilab service Posted December 28, 2025 Report Posted December 28, 2025 (edited) What is tank temperature, when you get error? If tank temperature is lower than it is on settings and you have E608 error that means that heater overheats. It can be if tank circulation is too low, heater is dirty inside, or heater is faulty ( part of heater has short circuit ) . I think circulation is not enough to cool your heater and that is the reson why heater overheats. Need to clean inside heater, pipes and check circulation pump. Check what is voltage on your pump motor connector. To find what causes noise remove all pump elements and run only motor. During experments disconnect tank heater connectors ( to prevent overheat ) . Then you can see noise is from motor, or from pump element. Edited December 28, 2025 by Minilab service
cgdsdmrblk Posted January 2 Author Report Posted January 2 (edited) https://ibb.co/5hWY2d65 we've now removed the pump. can we remove the impellers inside these pumps? or is it a single piece? additionally, black debris came out of the bearings. My friend says the problem might be coming from there. edit: when turning the circulation pump (360s 0005a) by hand, faint noises can be heard coming from inside it. We believe this must be the source of all the noise. Is it possible to open up these pumps? there is an empty pump in the middle of the circulation pump. could that be used instead? Edited January 2 by cgdsdmrblk
yustas Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 Yes, as I wrote to you, the noise was caused by debris inside the impellers. It is better to replace it with an Iwaki 10L pump, as I think the blades inside the impeller are damaged. But you need to leave the faulty impeller inside the big pump unit so that it is on the same axis. Connect the power supply from the main pump to the Iwaki pump (in parallel), and it will turn on automatically with the main pump. This is easy to do. . cgdsdmrblk 1
Minilab service Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 Fujifilm sold only whole pump unit. FP232B circulation pump unit has part number 133G03125 ( 133G03125S 133G03125T ) . You can see it here : https://www.minilabhelp.com/uploads/monthly_2020_07/1872717390_FP-232pump.jpg.7fdf028e0c42cde561146047defdd112.jpg It has 7 elements. Elements ( 360S0004B and 360S0005A/360S0005B ) can just remove and change. If can't find element then remove it. Instead of faulty element connect one channel replenishment pump. I already wrote which models you can to use. cgdsdmrblk 1
cgdsdmrblk Posted January 3 Author Report Posted January 3 hello everyone once again. i will share the latest developments. first of all, i am very grateful to you for your helpful approach in resolving the issue up to this point. we resolved the E608 error yesterday. as i mentioned in my previous comment, we cleaned the dirt that had built up in the bearings of the circulation pump and applied grease. we thought that might be the cause of the noise. we turned on the device. it ran quietly for a longer period than before. then that sound came out, but it was less noisy than before. and essentially, the banging sound that created that loud noise was no longer there. it continued to operate in this way, circulating. as it reached the desired temperatures, we got the e608 error again. my friend removed the black piece from the end of one of the hoses connected to the n1 heater and n1 circulation pump. i think this small black piece was installed to slow down the circulation. we restarted it this way and there were no problems. we even carried out a test run. everything was fine. it only gave an e413 error. it cannot transfer the leader card. i will clean that area today. but it seems we have solved the biggest and most troublesome problem.
Minilab service Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Error E413 means left IX240 sensor abnormal. SThe left IX240 sensor is ON ( when it is not closed ) . Film sensor is dirty, something blocked it, or sensor is faulty. Clean the film sensor. Go to input check, open 734 menu and check sensor status. On this menu left IX240 sensor is LSE4. Open the loader cover and check sensor. LSE4 is last sensor on left side. When nothing inserted should be 0 (OFF) and if insert piece of paper then should be 1 (ON). Detector assembly FMS has part number 812G03107 . It consists of two boards - bottom and top . On top board are potentiometers to adjust sensors sensitivity. Might be will be enough to rotate LSE4 potentiometer and status will be correct ( 0 ) . If it is not enough then usally emmitter LED becomes too weak. It is enough to change it and sensor works again.
cgdsdmrblk Posted January 3 Author Report Posted January 3 we cleaned the sensor part and everything is as it should be. only the rack and the operating cover are not applying full pressure. sometimes the racks push up the operating cover. i will solve the problem by sticking something spongy to the ends of the racks. i am extremely relieved that we have solved such a problem.
yustas Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Check the condition of the chain sprockets themselves and the quality of the surface under the chain — sometimes fossilised chemicals can remain there, causing the sprocket to bounce when rotating, pushing the rack and crossover upwards.
cgdsdmrblk Posted January 3 Author Report Posted January 3 i will check on monday. i will let you know the latest situation. thank you again for helping me get such a device, which does not even have technical service in türkiye, up and running.
Minilab service Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 4 hours ago, cgdsdmrblk said: sometimes the racks push up the operating cover. i will solve the problem by sticking something spongy to the ends of the racks. It is incorrect. Even when cover is opened rack shouldn't jump. If racks jump and you prevent it then during longer period gears will be damaged. Clean racks well and they will not jump.

cgdsdmrblk Posted January 5 Author Report Posted January 5 i started the machine. i observed the processing with the operating cover open. the n1 rack is jumping. this time i started turning the chain manually. could the leadercard be causing a jam in the rack due to reasons such as poor quality or not being flat? there is one missing part on N1 rack. it is part (fitting, tube) number 12. will it cause problems?
Minilab service Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 If jumps only N1 rack and other racks not then it is some problem with N1 rack. The same rack is N3 and this rack doesn't jump. Open top cover, remove turn racks. Then insert leader card directly into N1. Look in which position it jumps. If will not see when rotates motor then you can rotate by hand. You can remove fitting tube ( 372G03115 ) from tank 3, wash very well and use on N1. Need wash very well ( otherwise developer will be contaminated ) . Then you can see it effects jumping, or not.

Minilab service Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 (edited) N1 and N3 are the same. Try to run poor leader card through rack N3. If it jumps also then leader card is faulty. If will not jump - then problem with rack 1 . If with good leader tanks N1 doesn't jump then can leave as is. During time rollers and other parts will be washed. Might be after that will be better. Might be after that will be better. i will try it in the morning, as you said. as you know, it is very difficult to find spare parts for the fp232b. is there a significant difference in terms of parts between the fp230b and fp232b? for example, can i use the rack from the fp230b in the fp232b? one fp230b has been put up for sale. if it will be useful to me as a spare part, i will purchase it.
Minilab service Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 FP230B - process CN-16Q. FP232B - process CN-16Q ( older models ) , or CN-16L ( newer models ) . Check what is your process. It depends on film processor pipe connection, film processor serial number ( it is on metal label ) and system software version ( can see it on LCD ) . Difference between CN-16Q and CN-16L you can see here : https://asset.fujifilm.com/www/ph/files/2020-11/aec59e1c5f0cf954722a1a272be9f6ab/cn16lq_.pdf Some FP230B parts can be used on FP232B . For example LCD, gears, sensors. FP232B has two N1/N3 rack models ( 802G03196/802G03198 or 802G03221/802G03223 ) . On FP230B can be N1 802G03161 , 802G03179, N3 802G03163 , 802G03207 . N1 and N3 racks are the same. Different only label. FP230B circulation pump has part numbers 133G03115P ( 50 Hz models ) , or 133G03116P ( 60 Hz models ) . FP232B has 133G03125 . Pumps look similar, so elements could be used. Find both film processor's serial numbers, open their part lists and compare them.

Minilab service Posted January 7 Report Posted January 7 Do not quote text. Just at the bottom write message and press "Submit Replay" . Now you quoted text, which is not related to your messaage and imnpossible understand anything. If leader card was damaged in rack N1 then need to check it. Remove rack, insert leader card, rotate by hand and look how leader card goes through it. Look at the position, where leader card usually stops. If your working tanks are filled with water then you can swap N1 and N3 racks for tests. If in working tanks are chemicals then can't do it ( because developer will be contaminated ) .
cgdsdmrblk Posted January 7 Author Report Posted January 7 as seen in the video, the leader card experiences a jam right at the start of the N1 rack. i removed the n1 rack from its place. i turned it by hand, but it was very difficult to turn. after escaping from the congested section, the leader card began to turn very smoothly. i have now swapped the positions of the n1 and n3 racks. i am currently attempting the second trial with the leader card, and the leader card comes out of the device without any problems. the 6-7 test runs in the morning went smoothly. however, afterwards, there was jamming and bouncing, as seen in the video.
Minilab service Posted January 7 Report Posted January 7 You can remove both racks - N1 and N3. Then rotate by hand, insert leader card and run through the rack. Then you can compare how leader card goes through N1 and N3. If N1 is very difficult to turn and N3 not then need to find what is the problem on N1. Everything can can cause it. On video can't see anything. Can find it only onsite. Might be something broken, assembled wrong, missing poarts, damaged gears, rollers, or something else. Hope in your film processor tanks still is water. If there are chemicals and you inserted N3 rack into N1 position then developer is contaminated and need to change it.
cgdsdmrblk Posted January 8 Author Report Posted January 8 don't worry, there is still water in the film processor tanks. i won't put chemicals in the film processer tanks unless I'm certain. i will check manually and see if the problem is only in the n1 rack. additionally, the N1 and N3 racks (fp230b) will arrive in a few days. i will test them as well.
