dingo_ Posted December 31, 2025 Report Posted December 31, 2025 Hi all! I have been receiving the No. 06341-00001 "Scanner image path error" error message and cannot resolve what the issue is/may be. I have followed the prompts via HELP in the error window, but nothing has helped - there isn't really any information on this. It has come to a point where I will turn on the computer, power the scanner, EZ Controller launches, but on the INPUT screen it will say something like, "Scanner is Calibrating" but does not actually calibrate - I don't hear the normal clicks of the calibration. What I have done to resolve the issue... When error message pops up, I unplug and restart the system based off of the HELP information. I have tried plugging it back in and only once was I able to have the tray take the film, but only for it to get stuck in the "preparing scan" window until the same error message pops up. I have also tried to calibrate the scanner through the setting and I get a "terminated abnormally" message after waiting around 5% of the calibration because the No. 06341-00001 error message popped up. Uninstall and Reinstall EZ Controller Made sure the OUTPUT images for JPEG, TIFF all went to the same folder in the C drive Something to mention is that the first time I plugged in the scanner, before un/plugging back in to fix, I smelled something like burning plastic. I don't know if that was from inside the scanner as I couldn't tell where it came from. This is a very expensive piece of equipment that I have not had for very long and it would be devastating to have it die with only 155 scans. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Minilab service Posted December 31, 2025 Report Posted December 31, 2025 Didn't need to reinstall Ez controller. Error 06341-00001 is from scanner system software. 06341-00001 means scanner image path error - after the scanning receiving images does not finish. If you feel smelled something like burning plastic then mightr be burned board at the scanner unit top. Go into service mode. Open scanner sensitivity check menu. If you can open it then look what you see there. If see 'terminated" then try replace this board.

I attempted to the sensitivity and DX adjustment but only received the same error message. How could have the board burned?
Minilab service Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 Sensor sensitivity adjustment and DX adjustment errors are film carrier errors ( not scanner errors ) . You see them on film carrier adjustment menu. You need go into service mode and open scanner sensitivity check. Look if you can open it without errors and see all curves ( R, G, B, IR ) .
