arturo huevo duro Posted January 6 Report Posted January 6 (edited) I'm getting these yellow and black lines, but only on white. What could be the problem? My minilab is a Noritsu 3202 Pro. Edited January 6 by arturo huevo duro
Dave S Posted January 6 Report Posted January 6 The most common cause is a bad blue AOM driver, it could also be caused by a failing blue laser. Try switching the green and blue AOM's around with each other, if you start to get magena lines instead of yellow, the cause will be the AOM driver.
yustas Posted January 6 Report Posted January 6 If these yellow lines appeared unexpectedly, suddenly, then most likely you have a problem with the blue channel AOM driver. If this has been happening for a long time, gradually, then you have a problem with the blue channel laser module. To begin with, swap the blue and green channel AOM drivers. If magenta stripes appear, then the problem is with the AOM driver of the blue channel (which is currently on the green channel). Just remember to mark AOM drivers before swapping them.

Prueba a cambiar los AOM verde y azul entre sí; si empiezas a tener líneas magena en vez de amarillas, la causa será el controlador AOM. It's not this band that's getting stuck

This isn't the first time these lines have appeared; I already changed AOM and they're still appearing.

Sigue los consejos que recibiste antes en este hilo. Do you think it's a problem with the image processor?

alexvigor Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 If swapping AOMs doesn't change anything (same color, yellow affected on image path check prints) than blue laser might be faulty. Which laser type do you have? If its type A1 or B1 you can try swapping laser drivers.

Can you write partnumber or post a picture, for better understanding what exactly was the cause of the problem.

I don't speak perfect English, so I'm uploading this through a translator, but I managed to solve the problem by changing the blue laser driver and ultimately choosing the correct profile and balancing the machine from scratch. yustas Posted January 15 Report Posted January 15 If you have yellow stripes/lines, it means your AOM driver on the blue channel or blue module is faulty. If you have magenta stripes/lines, it means your AOM driver on the green channel or green module is faulty. If you have cyan stripes/lines, it means your AOM driver on the red channel or red module is faulty. Please remember for the future. arturo huevo duro and werewere 1 1

Minilab service Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 Might be laser control pcb is faulty. Go into service mode and run image path check with test print. Look if you see any error there. Try replace laser control pcb. Can use any laser control board from QSS32, QSS33, or QSS34.
