Tengi2 Posted January 19 Report Posted January 19 Hi every one here, Due to increasing supply of unstable electricity in my local town, I'm planning to add a voltage regulator (stabilizer ) that will supply electricity to my old but still working QSS 30 MINILAB, Iam not sure what capacity (in KVA) of the regulator will be capable of doing the job. I am thinking about ANDELI SVC 3000KVA Automatic voltage regulator. Any one with proper information about this please share with me and help me to make correct decision. Thank you in advance
Minilab service Posted January 19 Report Posted January 19 Correct model is Andeli SVC-3000VA ( not KVA ) . It is 3kW (3000VA) single-phase voltage stabilizer. QSS3001 power is 5.0 - 5.7 kW ( depends on voltage, when 220V - 5.4 kW ) . Your stabilizer will not be enough during minilab starting ( when all heaters are ON ) .
Minilab service Posted January 19 Report Posted January 19 Andeli has model SVC-7500VA . It is 1 phase, 220V, 7500VA/6000W automatic voltage stabilizer. It would be enough to connect QSS3001 and other QSS30 models.
Tengi2 Posted January 20 Author Report Posted January 20 Thank you for your reply, I have noted a point of correction above, (about SVC 3000VA) and a recommendation of a capable stabilizer SVC 7500VA. Now I am confident that I am going to shop 7.5KVA Stabilizer. Thank you again
Minilab service Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 When electricity voltage is unstable then stabilizer is better than nothing, but I think would be better stabilzer with UPS.
