Noritsu HS-1800 Driver Issue

Hi!

I'm a new owner of a Noritsu HS-1800 and I'm having an issue installing drivers. I've installed EZ controller 7.20 and system software 7.00. The seller provided drivers along with the software, but I can't figure out how to get them working. I temporarily turned off the driver signature enforcement, which allowed me to actually install the drivers but they still don't work. I'm a bit lost! I'm installing this onto Windows 11 64bit. Has anyone dealt with this issue? I've provided some screen shots for context.

You need install last version driver HS-1800 is 7.1

Driver version is 1,0,0,0 ( 07/09/2021 ) . 7.10 is system software version.

Driver which you tried to install is for 32 bit Windows. Probably you have computer with 64 bit Windows and can't use it.

64 bit driver is inside NkScan00014\WinUsbDrv\01009 . This driver doesn't have digital signature. To install it need temporary disable driver signature enforcement. On Windows use an advanced boot option , troubleshoot , disable driver signature enforcement.

If HS-1800 system software is the latest ( 7.10 ) then driver has digital signature. 64 bit driver with signature is inside NkScan00014\WinUsbDrvWithCat\01009 . This driver can install when driver signature enforcement is enabled. Do not need disable it.

On Windows should be installed correct HS-1800 system software. On W10 should be version 7.00, or later. On W11 should be version 7.10 .

Driver instillation is not enough, On EZ controller you need program scanning services ( output devices menu ) , register HS-1800 ( input devices menu ) and program print channels. On print channel can select scanning sevice and resolution ( LOW, MID, or HIGH ) .

Is it impossible to upgrade my current software to 7.10? Do I have to purchase separate software to run on win11 64bit?

W11 is only 64 bit. It doesn't have 32 bit versions.
W10 can be 64 bit ( x64 ) and 32 bit ( x86 ) .

On W8 should be version 6.00 or later. On W10 should be version 7.00 or later. On W11 should be version 7.10 .
7.10 is the latest. You can use it on any Windows. On this version driver has digital signature.

On W10 should be  Ez controller 6.60 , or later.
On W11 should be Ez controller 8.00 , or later.
The latest Ez controller version - 8.31 .

On EZ controller can be istalled many correction options ( digital masking, red eye, tone curve correction and many others ) .

Which HS-1800 system software version is installed now? It is possible to install correct system software version. Write private message if you need a help.
