You can't get  12800 pixels . Similar would be it to use all CCD area and scan in 4 positions. 4096 × 3072 = 12583 . It is impossible.

SP500 CCD resolution is 2048 × 1536 . CCD proportion is 1.33 . 135 frame dimension is 36 mm x 24 mm. Frame propotion is 1.5 . That means even in theory on CCD can use 2048 x 1365 . CCD sides are not used. So maximum can be about 2010 x 1340 ( usually it is less ) .

SP500 maximum can scan in 4 positions ( when selected large print size ) . Then resolution would be double ( 4020 x 2680 ) . 4020 x 2680 = 10774 pixels .

To get bigger resolution frame proportion should be 1.33 . 135 frame doesn't have it. It is possible on 120 film ( frame 6 x 8 , where proportion is 1.33 ) , but SP500 can't scan it.
