alex25g Posted March 2 Report Posted March 2 Good afternoon, I'm requesting help with this error: e-2892. The problem is intermittent. I've already cleaned the connectors and checked the power supply in PW23. I'm requesting help, thank you in advance.
Minilab service Posted March 2 Report Posted March 2 E-2892 means blown IL+8V power supply fuse is detected. Check IL+8V fuse (F131) on the LDD23 circuit board . Try to replace it. If fuse is good then look if you have 8 V on the LDD23 board input ( A+8V : connector LDD4 contact 6 ) and on fuse F131 ( fuse input and output ) . If all good, but you still have E-2892 error then faulty LDD23 board. If your Red laser head is old type then can use any revision LDD23 ( 857C1059597A , 857C1059597B, 857C1059597C...) . If your Red laser head is new type then you need the board with the latest revisions ( 857C1059597G , or 857C1059597H ) . Look what is your LDD23 revision. If it is older then your laser unit has old type R laser head and you can use board with any revision. if your board has revision G, or H then need to look how many contacts has Red laser head ( inside laser unit ) . Then you know Red laser head is old type, or new type. New boards have revision H, or G . If you buy new board then R laser can be any type. If you buy used LDD23 then can be board with any revision and you need to know Red laser head type.
