Tubylec1982 Posted April 3 Report Posted April 3 (edited) Hello. I replaced the rubber wheels on the 135/240 carrier. After reassembly, I get error 1409. Set the film path in the mask. Id doesn't matter if i set track for 135 or 240 .I checked all the tape connectors, and everything looks fine. What else i should check ? Edited April 3 by Tubylec1982
Minilab service Posted April 3 Report Posted April 3 Lane selection circuit is simple. Lane limit switches have connect J/P17 contact 12, or J/P17 contact 13 to ground ( when selected 135, or 240 lane ) . Intermediate connectors between J/P17 and lane switches are J/P1008 , J/P1009 , J/P1032 and J/P1033 . Check do you have 0V on J/P17 contacts when lane selection switch is pressed.
Tubylec1982 Posted April 8 Author Report Posted April 8 Is there a wiring diagram available somewhere?
Tubylec1982 Posted April 8 Author Report Posted April 8 I'll try to check it tomorrow or on the weekend
Minilab service Posted April 8 Report Posted April 8 135/240AFC-II circuit diagram is on minilab service manuals ( for QSS32 and later models ) .How everything connected can see on my post above.
Tubylec1982 Posted April 10 Author Report Posted April 10 (edited) I found a cracked one Flexible Flat Ribbon Cable from sensor PCB to driver pcb2 i think so Edited April 10 by Tubylec1982
Tubylec1982 Posted April 10 Author Report Posted April 10 symbols on tape AWM e41447-k 80c 60v 20624 vw-1
Minilab service Posted April 10 Report Posted April 10 AWM 20624 80C 60V is not a model. Here just cable UL-AWM specifications ( flexibility, temperature, voltage, etc ) . VW-1 is flammability rating. e41447-k is cable style. Here is 1 mm pitch 14 pin flat flexible cable ( FFC ) . If to buy cable from Noritsu then part number is W407026-01 . Also can buy it from cable makers.
Tubylec1982 Posted May 7 Author Report Posted May 7 After replacing the 36-pin connector, the film position error is gone. But there are others: charging sensor error, perforation sensor error, and ready sensor error. There's also an error - the sensor sensitivity hasn't been set. But it can't be set because errors for all three sensors are popping up.
Dave S Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 (edited) Load in your backup data, that should clear the Sensor calibration has not been completed yet error. Enter the service mode, on the film carrier adjustment screen, enter 255 for the Perforation and Ready sensor and LED values, register, now go into input check and see what the status is for the Perforation and Ready sensors. If they are still showing dark, there will be some hardware issue with film carrier. Edited May 7 by Dave S
Tubylec1982 Posted May 11 Author Report Posted May 11 The new tape was damaged, I put on a second one and there are no errors except the previous one about setting the correct track for the film (error 1409)
Minilab service Posted May 11 Report Posted May 11 To this cable connected APS spool motor driver, lane selection switches ( 135, 240 ) and nothing else. This cable can't effect how work sensors. To sensors connected two other cables. Cable is 75 cm length , 1 mm pitch , 14 pins, B type ( contacts are opened on different sides - reverse direction ) . It is easy to find similar cable ( 80 cm , or 800 mm length ) . On film carrier space is enough to fit 80 cm cable instead of 75 cm. Cable is cheap. Two pieces of 14 pin, 800 mm length , reverse direction, 1.00mm pitch cables on online shops cost about 6 EUR. Not so easy to repair 135/240AFC-II . I had to make self made equipment to have possibility to test and calibrate sensors when AFC is diassembled. Then can repair film carrier without scanner.
