Ez Controller and Noritsu 3101

Hello. EZ Controller is not finishing printing on the Noritsu 3101. Any information about this error?

If you installed on XP then with default Windows settings NET Order doesn't work. On Windows 2000 PRO NET Order print works without problems. Test NET Order print using some other software ( Print driver, Hotfolder and similar ) .

On manual for NET Order connection module see that EZ controller can't print on QSS3101 directly. First minilab where can do it is QSS3101-1 .

QSS3101-1 has different printer and system software :
QSS3101    = SI-2600 + LP-2200 + PP-1223
QSS3101-1 = SI-2600 + LP-2600 + PP-1223

To print from Ez controller on older minilabs need third computer  with EZ Lab software. Then can connect QSS28 and later.

Thanks for the information, I have Windows 2000 Pro installed, I'm going to try it as you suggested with another computer and with EZ Lab.

Is it possible to convert a Noritsu Qss 3101 to Qss 3101-1?

Did you test your QSS3101 NET Order mode using other software? Can you print if to use it ? If NET Order doesn't work with print driver then it will not work with any other software which use NET Order.

I never try to use EZ Controller with QSS3101 . On manual and EZController help file see that should be QSS3101-1 and later models. QSS3101-1 system software should be G001 , or later. EZ controller should be 5.0 , or later.

QSS3101-1 has different printer and software. Scanner and processor are the same. If you on QSS3101 remove LP-2200 , connect LP-2600 and install different software then you have QSS3101-1 . 

LP-2200 and LP-2600 have different DPI and different laser section parts. To see everything you can compare LP-2200 and LP-2600 part lists. 
LP-2200 laser control pcb has part number J390710 and on LP-2600 it is J390986 .
LP-2200 laser unit is Z019692 ( A type ) and on LP-2600 it is Z022472 ( A type ) , or Z022473 ( B type ) .
Printer control section boards are the same. Might be it is enough to change laser control pcb, but I not sure about that.

Please tell your NET Order print works, or not. Test it using QSS printer driver.
QSS print driver works on QSS28 and later models, so on QSS3101 it should work also. If QSS printer driver version is new ( 5.15, or later ) then during print driver instillation need select NET Order mode ( not NPS ) . Older QSS printer driver versions have only one mode ( NET Order ) . To install older printer driver versions on newer Windows need select compatibulity with XP, or Windows 2000 ( printer driver version 1 )  . Windows should be 32 bit . Can use virtual machine.  On 64 bit can install version 5.15 and later.
If QSS printer driver doesn't work then Windows XP settings are incorrect. Need change XP security, network, firewall, sharing and similar settings, or install Windows 2000 PRO ( there works with default Windows settings ) .

Hey friend, another question. If I install version 31Pro or 31Pro Turbo on the Noritsu 3101, will it work with the EZ Controller?

Hello. Why I should answer your questions when you ignore what I asked?

As I wrote before directly can connect QSS3101-1 and later. Can't connect older models. 
QSS3101 can convert into QSS31 PRO , but can't convert it into QSS31 PRO-1 , or QSS31 PRO Turbo .

Three QSS31 printers have LP-2200 printer :
QSS3101/QSS3111 = SI-2600 scanner + LP-2200 + PP-1223
QSS31 PRO = LP-2200 Printer Control Unit + LP-2200 +PP-1223
Can't connect them to Ez controller directly.

QSS3101-1/QSS3111-1 and QSS31 PRO-1 have the same printer and processor :
QSS3101-1/QSS3111-1 = SI-2600 scanner + LP-2600 + PP-1223 . To connect directly system software should be G001, or later.
QSS31 PRO-1 = LP-2600 printer control unit + LP-2600 + PP-1223 . Do not know why this model is not on the list. Might be system software is not compatible.

All QSS3102 models are supported :
QSS3102 = SI-2600 scanner + LP-2600 + PP-1230 . To connect directly system software should be 2.00 or later.
QSS3102-2/QSS-3112-2 = SI-2400 scanner + LP-2600 + PP-1230 . To connect directly system software should be 1.00 or later.
QSS31 PRO Turbo = LP-2600 printer control unit + LP-2600 + PP-1230 . To connect directly system software should be 2.00 or later.

QSS28 and later models can connect when have third computer with EZ LAB software. On printer internal computer should be working NET Order print.
