Samuel Garcia 77 Posted April 8 Report Posted April 8 (edited) Hi everyone, I’m working on a Fuji Frontier 340 and I’m having a serious communication/initialization issue after replacing the internal PC. Here is my situation: I installed a completely new PC (new motherboard, drives, etc.) I am using a Fuji system (from another machine, not the original one) The Fuji software (MS01/FE) starts and opens normally BUT it fails during initialization and does not complete startup Errors / symptoms: Windows detects hardware but cannot find drivers for: FUJIFILM SCSI Processor Device RICOH Hardware Access Library Yellow marks appear in Device Manager During startup, the system cannot establish communication with the minilab The software never completes the initialization process Additional info: The SCSI card is not the original one (recently installed, model unknown for now) The system I’m using is not from this specific minilab No original recovery CDs available I tried manually searching for drivers but Windows cannot locate them My questions: Is this likely caused by an incompatible SCSI card? Do I need the exact original Fuji system (MS01/FE) for this specific machine? Is it possible to install the required SCSI/RICOH drivers manually, or are they only included in the full Fuji system? Has anyone successfully run a Frontier 340 with a non-original PC + different SCSI card? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying to determine whether I should: Change the SCSI card Find the correct Fuji system Or attempt a full reinstall I need this: driver FuJI F1 SCSI Processor device Thanks in advance! Minilab service Posted April 8 Report Posted April 8 Recovery CDs are for FC2010/2011 , FC5010/5011 and FC7010/7011 computers. On FC5010/5011 is Ricoh FB5 motherboard and on FC7010/7011 it is Ricoh FB6 . It is possible to find these motherbords. During computer startup you have to see connected 8 SCSI items. Make sure, that you see them. If not - can't use this SCSI board. During startup driver is not loaded, but you should see them. If you see these items then try to find Windows 2000 driver using board ID . To do it click Start, click Run, type msinfo32, and then click OK. Open Componnents - Problem Devices . Look PNP Device ID ( VEN_xxxx&DEV_xxxx ) . Using ID can find Windows 2000 driver ( if it exists ) . Original SCSI card has Fuji part number 857C9673880 . This board has LSI Logic SYM53C857 chip. Windows for this model has sym53c8xx driver. SCSI driver is with minilab system software ( inside folder "DRIVER" ) .
