cgdsdmrblk Posted April 8 Report Posted April 8 hi, can i use the masks from the Fuji Frontier SP-2000 on the Fuji Frontier SP-3000?
Minilab service Posted April 8 Report Posted April 8 SP-2000 and SP-3000 are absolutelly different. On SP2000 has narrow CCD. Frame is scanned during film movement. SP3000 has wide CCD. Film goes to possition and scanned whole frame. Frame using micromovement changes positions and can be scanned few times ( up to 8 ) . SP2000 manual carrier is MFC10Y . SP3000 manual film carrier is MFC10AY . SP2000 masks have rollrers ( to move film during scan ) . SP3000 masks do not have it. SP2000 masks do not have stoppers and SP3000 masks should have them. For SP-3000 can buy original masks and not original masks. Original masks are for exact frame. Need remove mask and insert other. Not original mask is the same for all formats. Just need change inlays for each film format. Inlays can buy from maker, or can make them yourself ( it is easy to make, or print 3D ) .
