Hello everyone. There is a problem with the Paper Condition setup on the frontier 550. On rolls 15,2 and 17.8, it is absolutely impossible to get the setup to be OK. However, on rolls 25.4 and 30.5, the most successful results are obtained from one or two attempts. The chemistry has just been changed. The paper is the same for all rolls (fuji). Does anyone have an idea what the problem is here.

I want to mention that until 15 days ago everything was working as it should. When this problem appeared, I first suspected a problem with the working chemistry, because I hadn't changed it for a long time, and I didn't even have a reason to change it because the printing was perfect. Then I changed chemistry, hoping for a positive outcome. Unfortunately, I have not achieved anything in relation to the mentioned problem. Everything else works great. The quality of the photos is at an enviable level.

I will supplement my observations. Yesterday I replaced the 30.5 roll because the previous one was used up. After that I couldn't do the paper setting. I tried 7 times and gave up. The first 2 test prints are visibly different shades, but from the third to the end they are all the same, and the gray tones are exactly as they should be. After that, I inserted a cassette with 25.4 paper (it contains a roll from earlier purchases), the paper setting was completed immediately from the first attempt. The logical conclusion is that the problem comes from the paper itself. I always order fujifilm paper from the same supplier. The question arises, is it possible that the batch of paper, which he is currently selling, has some kind of error?
