Hi,

Any one know of somewhere that might have old stock, or some decommissioned Chromira's I could buy a linear encoder strip from?

 

ZBE doesn't make or sell them anymore.

You can try with linear encoder of the  same length from large format ink jet printers where head movement is controlled by the  linear encoder readings...Try to  match with same width encoders
