Yiar Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 (edited) Hello I bought a V30 some time ago. From the beginning it was scratching film and leaving spots on the negatives. the technician claimed that an amount of films need to passthrough in order for everything start operating normally. 100 films later and after 7 total clean ups of the machine, I am still getting scratches. And I believe it’s way ahead of acceptable results. i have taken each rack out, dissasembled it, clean it, check it, cleaning fixer crystals from every rack I put, crossover the same, sandpapered them with water p3000 sandpaper they are now like glass and these are my results. Dryer and loading unit seem to operate normally. Squeeze racks as well. What am I missing? Edited April 30 by Yiar
yustas Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 You need to check the condition of the non-exposed film after each rack. Only this way you can find the cause of the scratch. Did you inspect the dryer unit?
