Hi all, My v30 just arrived from Europe and I was wondering how I can deep clean the machine before I start filling it with chemicals ?

Do I just fill it with water and run it for a few hours ? There seems to be a bit of water still left down in rack 1 and the each tanks seem to still have a very small amount of old chemicals in them and some in the pipes when I took off the panel on the back and the other side of the machine.

I did search this forum but didn't seem to find anything I would love some help of possible as I would hate to ruin mine or someones elses film if i didn't do it properly.

what did the seller say...consult seller first.

we can supplement after his...

Its a 100% working machine but was a spare its been water tested but there I wiped the area under 5 and 6 racks and they seem discoloured and some came off using a towel with water on it. I would like to just give it a thorough clean before I start using it as its a good chance to get it down before its used again for hopefully years.

You can use a jet washer to clean the racks.

For the tanks just fill up with water and run the machine, check the circulation pumps are working.

Drain and repeat until the water remains clean.

When you say tanks you even mean the chemical tanks ? Just to flush them

Yes, the chemical tanks that the racks go in to.

What about the tanks below where the chemicals go in ? They are dirty and have some chemicals left over in the bottom and on the mixing sticks have some on them I would love start this up as close to a pristine new machine as possible.

Use a wet and dry vacuum cleaner to suck out the old chemicals then rince with water.

Or remove the replenisher tanks from the machine. To do so remove the large back panel by loosining the 2 bottom screws, then lifting the panel up and pulling it out.

You can remove the pipes from the replenisher pumps by unscrewing the black outer ring on the pipes going to the pump.

Ensure you unplug the level sensor wires before pulling the tanks out.
