How to connect/setup Fujifilm SP3000 ?

Sorry for such a noob question, I am looking for some help on how to connect my recently purchased SP3000 ? Everything you see was in a box seperate to the scanner on the pallet and I have never used a PC in my life so I know I am in for a bit of a learning curve. The DIC is on the right side of the image.

Scanner has power connector. Connect it to wall socket

Scanner computer is on the left. It is not original. From scanner unit there need connect two Firewire cables, USB cable and bottom power cable. Top power cable is to connect monitor. If want monitor power you can connet directly to wall socket. Then monitor will be powered when scanner is off.

With two computers can use two monitors, keyboards and mice. If want can be only one set and monitor/keyboard/mouse switch. This switch is on your picture.

Computers neeed connect to one network. Can use direct LAN cable, or LAN switch with cables. You have both ot them. Switch is necessary if you want connect to this network more computers.

To start scanner is enough to press big scanner power button ( it is on right side ) . If doesn't start - togetther press and hold scanner power button and computer power button. To have correct startup ( using scanner power button ) need on BIOS chage computer power management settings. Computer should start when it get power from scanner.

Second computer ( server ) power connect to wal;l socket. You need press computer power button to turn on it.
