Dom Benevides Posted June 2 Report Posted June 2 (edited) Hi all! I am running into a problem with my LS-600 and I can't figure out what's wrong. This error message 15010-00003 pops up when loading the EZ controller and when I click Yes:OK it just restarts and shows the message again, over and over, it just cycles this message and the program is unable to load. For reference, the scanner system program is version 7.1, the EZ controller version is 6.60, I'm on windows 10 x64, and this scanner / ez controller / PC combination has been working fine with no software issues for the past 2 years. Only last night when I was doing the close down checks I got a BSOD, the PC restarted and the EZ Controller immediately showed this error, now I'm stuck. Things I've done so far (with no success): - Reinstalled windows (full fresh install, not keeping any files) - Reinstalled both the LS600 and EZ controller - Increased paging file size - Unplugged and re-plugged scanner and dongle I see that there were some other questions posted about this error but no one came back with a conclusion on what worked. Search results online aren't giving me anything else. Can anyone here help please? Edited June 2 by Dom Benevides fixed a word
Dave S Posted June 3 Report Posted June 3 It could be bad RAM or a failing hard drive on the PC. As installing Windows and EZcontroller hasn't helped, it's likley some kind of hardware issue with the PC

By the way do you know if the EZ Controller / Dongle works on Windows 11? It's getting hard to source Windows 10 PCs

For Windows 11 EZ Controller needs to be version 8.00 or later. And the Scanner driver needs to be version 7.10 to support digital signature verification in Windows 11. Edited June 4 by Dave S

The interesting thing is we bought this version of EZ Controller from Noritsu less than 2 years ago. I asked them for the latest version and received 6.60. It wasn't a big deal to me at the time since I made it work on Windows 10, but now I see that I'm gonna have to upgrade. I do have the scanner driver 7.10 Do you know which is the actual number of the latest version of EZ Controller? I'll have to be specific with them to get what I need it seems.
