Hi everyone,

I recently rescued a vintage Fuji PP401B print processor from the dump and I’d like to get it up and running, if at all possible.
The paper feed and pumps seem to be working, but it displays a few errors after turning it on.
When I flip the main switch, some relays in the power supply click for a moment, then they settle in and the system boots up.
First error: E45 - P2 A/D converter error - I measured the heating elements, and it seems that the temperature sensing isn’t working on at least two of them. When I try to access the temperature calibration menu, another error prevents me from doing so, appearing every few seconds.
E01 - Bad memory data. I replaced the backup battery, and the manual says that data was lost from the RAM and needs to be re-entered, but because of the constantly appearing E01 error, I can’t access the menu.
I’d appreciate any help!
Many thanks!

Martin

I don't think it's worth the trouble.
Of course, if you have a lot of free time and nothing to do, you can play with it.

As for E01, you need to replace the RAM backup battery.
E45 will be resolved after the mainboard is revived (I hope so).

Contact me if you need a full set of manuals for PP401B or PP540B.

Any effort is worth it if it brings you joy :D
Thanks for the offer; there were some manuals for it. I'll probably need some hardware parts—heating elements and various rollers—since the original ones have turned into a sticky mess.
