Sean M Posted June 13 Report Posted June 13 We have been having digital artifacts on some images on one of our scanners. They are these tiny bright dots that are difficult to see when zoomed out but upon zooming in they appear as vertical banding. The color of the dots seems to change based on the color they are on top of. It is not consistent throughout the roll, and only appears on some images, usually ones with brighter colors. The location varies from from roll to roll. Here is the link to example images: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1JJ_MoOMv4bOrid9Ln-5kqbag5Ah2Iw3M?usp=sharing
Minilab service Posted June 13 Report Posted June 13 I think faulty GPA23, or RAM module. Go to image box test menu and check them. If your scanner has two GPA23 boards then try remove one and scan. After that try scan with other board. For scanner is enough one GPA23. Second board is optional.
