keven s Posted July 1 Report Posted July 1 Hi everyone, I am facing a tricky issue with my Noritsu QSS-3301 following a recent power surge/blackout in my lab. I am consistently getting Error 6107-0002: R Laser temperature out of limit. However, the laser behavior is acting like a yo-yo: When I boot the machine or trigger a system check/Daily Setup, the R Laser actually heats up, the error clears, the screen turns green showing "Pressione a tecla [INICIAR]", and I can even print a few photos perfectly. Shortly after the print job finishes or while the machine sits idle, the error pops up again and locks the machine. When checking Input Check -> Printer -> Engine Section, I see the following live numbers: R Laser Temperature Sensor: Drops down and hovers around 31.6°C (way below the ~47°C target). Laser Unit Temperature Sensor: Stays stable around 23.4°C (ambient room temperature). It seems the heating/Peltier circuit works initially when forced by a system operation, but it cannot sustain the current or the regulation loop during idle, causing the temperature to plummet. Since this started right after a severe power outage, could this be a hardware failure on the Laser I/O PCB (like a transistor or capacitor breaking down under sustained load)? Or is there a chance of a corrupted LUT/software parameter causing the logic loop to cut power prematurely? Any advice on what components to test on the boards or fuses to check would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
yustas Posted July 1 Report Posted July 1 If the temperature falls below 25.0 ° C (lower temperature limit), error 6107-0002 is generated. Find the blown fuses first. Reboot the power supply. Check the power to the laser I / O PCB. Check the temperature sensor in the temperature control unit R. (How to do it: check the resistance between the pins of the connector (see your lab's service manual for connector number) connected to the laser I / O PCB. The following reasons are also possible: Multiple power supply failure Laser power supply failure Laser control PCB failure Laser I / O PCB failure Failure of the red laser head. keven s 1
kodak_service Posted July 2 Report Posted July 2 (edited) The target temperature is not 47.0 degrees, but 28.0 degrees. The problem lies in the red head itself—there is poor thermal contact between the Peltier element and the head housing (I have encountered this issue several times).
