QSS-3001 laser unit type A to type B exchange

I need to replace a type A laser unit for a type B. Already have the type B unit and both type B driver boards. Do I need to change/update something on the QSS software or will it detect the type of the laser unit automatically?

Do not need to change anything. When you connect other laser drivers then on software see different laser type.
