The asking price is quite reasonable.
Why not buy this (hopefully) WORKING device and save yourself the hassle of dealing with replacement parts and calling a repair technician?

Here is frame, conveyer belt, motor, gears, belt,  and few other parts. If sorter doesn't move then usually motor is faulty. Motor unit has part number I041874 ( motor with gearbox )  . Motor is DME44B6H-206 (  DME44B6H-206A ) and gearbox 6H30-H167 .

Motor is 24V . To motor connector J/P737 connect multimeter. On multimeter select DC mode and rage more than 24V ( usually 200 V DC ) . Then from output check run conveyer motor. Look if you see 24V . Motor connected to processor I/O pcb connector J/P685 contacts 1 and 2 . Contact 1 is 24V power supply and contact is control circuit ( when 0V then motor should run ) .

If motor is faulty you need replace it. Can replace unit ( motor with gearbox ) , or only motor. From Noritsu can get only unit, but on online shops can find motor separatelly.

QSS30 serie has been discontinued. You can order the new motor only if the same motors are in use in other Noritsu labs.
You can provide the part number here, and I will check its availability in the Noritsu database .

Yes, all these models have been discontinued, so it is useless to ask Noritsu to supply the new motor.
Search for it on the second-hand market.

On minilab is motor DME44B6H-206A made by Nidec Servo CO LTD for Noritsu. It is 24V motor. On label see, that speed is 120 RPM , but here is speed with reducer. 6H30-H167 is 1 : 30 reducer. That means motor speed is 3600 RPM ( 120 x 30 = 3600 ) .

Standard Japan Servo CO LTD motors are DME44B6HPB and DME44B6HFPB . They both are 24V 3600 RPM motors. Different only motor gear. Need to remove original motor from gear box and look which motor gear is there.

I need the yellow belt that runs in the middle under the large black belt. The motor works, output check works, I only need the yellow belt.

The ebay unit look ok bue it may already have the belt broken.I just need a brand new yellow belt because all the used ones are old and will not work.

Does anyone have a new belt or a source that I can get a new belt?

Thank you.

Motor drive belt has Noritsu part number H016513 . Belt is Bando B165MXL 6.4 : 165 teeth , profile MXL (Mini Extra Light ) , pitch 2.032 mm, total length 335.28 mm , width 6.4 mm . Easy can find original belt ( Bando ) , or belts from other makers.

are there any instructions on how to dissasamble the unit and how to put the belt back? any adjustments? the intrnet has let me down on this one :((

Thank you.

its not the drive motor belt. its a yellow belt that runs in the middle of the 8" black belt in the middle. I have not seen any part list. if I can have the scamatic to the unit it will help me a lot to put the unit bach together. at this point I am not sure how the yellow belts loop, I have tried two ways, one the yellow belt follows the same path of 8" wide black belt. The other it loops on top of itself inside the groove. none of which worked and the both made the unit make a very loud grinding noise :(.

Thank you.

The yellow belt originally would have been glued to the centre of the black belt. So you will need to order a new conveyor belt with the centre belt already attached to it.

thank you , that helps a lot. but i am having zero luck finding the belt A041315-01. there are two on ebay and both in china, both use same exact pictures and both are pretty scarry looking . do you by any chanve have a source for it?

Alsi is there an instruction on how to dissassemble and assemble the unit for replacing that belt?

Thank you.

Hi,

I have managed to glue the yellow belt into the 8" black belt and now I get this

_what s happening?

_can I disable the sorter?

It is all the same when I use output check, the motor runs continuasley with the loud grinding noise, something is being blocked or I have a bad motor?

I am leanung towards something being blocked...

Thank you.

If on output check motor runs continuasley with the loud grinding noise then something is blocked. Motor should rotate and move sorter belt. It is some mechanical problem there.

Conveyor drive belt ( B165MXL 6.4 ) tension should be adjusted. Drive belt deflection should be about 3 mm and hold force about 300 g . When you assembled you had adjust belt tension pulley. Might be it has wrong position and drive belt is too lose, or too tight.

If you removed conveyor belt which moves photos then check if you installed it correctly. This belt must be attached in the proper direction .

You can test conveyor when it is removed. Just to drive motor connect 24V ( connector J/P737 ) and look what is going on. If want can connect lower voltage. I think 12V would be enough to rotate motor. Then motor rotates slower, have less power and can't brake ( if something doesn't alow to ratate ) . Also can remove drive belt and rotate drive gear by hand.

Conveyor unit has only position sensors ( position 1 and position 2 ) . Software doesn't see conveyor motor rotates, or not. You can unplug conveyor drive motor connector ( J/P737 ) . Then motor will not rotate. Conveyor change position, but drive motor and conveyor belt will not move.

You should be able to move the belt by hand, there will be some resistance due to the motor and gearbox, but it still should move smoothly.
If it doesn't move smoothly by hand, probably something mechanically is not fitted/ adjusted properly.
If it does move smoothly, it is going to be something electrical, check the wiring between the motor and the black plug is not internally damaged. Other causes are a bad motor itself, or the board that drives the motor itself is bad.
Do as Minilab service has suggested and test the motor from an external power source, it will confirm if the motor is good or not.

Thank you "Minilab Servise" and "Dave S",

All of your ideas make total sense and I will follow up.

_Do you guys have the electrical schamatic for this section?

Thanks.

Ok, it is all fixed now :)))

It ended up being the adjustment on the "H016513-00" belt, it was too loose and that it why it was making all that noise because the teeth on the belt was grinding against the teeth on the pully and slipping instead of engaging. I just followed the noise when I had the unit outside trying to turn it manually and walla.

That and the fact that previously I had no idea where the yellow belt was suppose to go.

By using this tape "3M 4905 Vhb Double Sided Clear Tape 1/4" x 10" I was able to salvage the old torn yellow belt and securing it to the black Large belt. Of course I had to flip the large belt inside out, secure it around a plastic bucket and stick the belt little by little and at the end secure the two end with a few inches of duckt tape for additional security.

We use this tape in our custom framing for securing heavy items and it is very strong.

Thank you guys again, "Minilab service" and "Dave S."
