Good afternoon, Minilabs friends. I am having a problem with printing on the LP-7700. There is color misalignment in certain images—specifically, school or university-style images with black backgrounds—where black text appears with a slight yellow, blue, or magenta border. In black-and-white images, a yellow halo or shadow appears between the black and white areas. We have performed a laser calibration, but the issue persists. Please see the attached image.

Thanks.-

Thank you for your reply; I took a new Daily Setup calibration strip and am sharing that image along with the table of values. I’m not sure if you can see the values clearly, as Minilab restricts the file size to 88 KB.

It looks like the colorimeter is not reading correctly. It appears to be reading the print much lighter than it actually is, causing the print to be too dark.

Is the calibration plate data correct for the calibration plate fitted?

No, the values shown are from the table for the previous board. The equipment owner manufactured their own board, and while the reference values fall within a certain tolerance range, an orange screen is already appearing to notify that the calibrations are out of range; the solution implemented was to add more PS1 chemical, allowing the calibration to pass.

Once the board and its software are received, should everything be reinstalled and the tanks cleaned, or should you simply replace the old chemical with fresh chemical and install only the board's software?

That’s what I thought, but I’m asking because, since chemicals have been added, the concentration might not be correct. We’ve purchased the plate and are waiting for it to arrive; once we get it, I’ll install it and we’ll start the calibration process. Thanks.

Got to love it when only half of the information is initially posted.
Can I please ask in future that all the relevant information is posted, so we're not having to be a detective and play the guessing game.

Thanks, AlexVigor; as soon as we receive the board and I install the software, I'll update you on the information.

Well, Dave, that was my question; I am very sorry if you were offended by it and wasted your time. Next time, neither read nor reply to me. Thank you for your attention.

Clearly you're not sorry at all for wasting everyone's time. No problem, I will ignore all future posts from you.
