Mat Posted September 18 Report Posted September 18 Good morning everyone, I'm new in this site, I arrived here by searching a help for Arc_net communication error 6901-0008. After investigation we found a dead +5V, +15V and -15V power suply, but the error still Their after changing that power suply with a good one. We continue vérification until at one moment windows2000 Pro crashed with bleu screen and recovered on its own many switch off and on, and we still with the 6901-0008in the same error. In device manager we have yellow questions marks on ARC-NET_Dirver and LVDS_Driver(Bus Master DMA-2). See attache picture As I say I'm new in this work, sonI cole her for any help to resolve this problème. What I 'm have to do, reinstall the drivers, reinstall all windows ? I don't have anti soft or drive, please can you send me the drivers and soft needed with your help. Thanks in advance Mat
PHOTOLABPART.COM Posted September 18 Report Posted September 18 Respected Sir Please try with Backup Please check J/P 223 J/P 224 ARCNET Processor control PCB J/P 514+5V,24V J/P 517 PRINTER CONTROL PCB J/P 791-792 0008 REGARDING PROCESSOR CONTROL PCB ERROR
Minilab service Posted September 18 Report Posted September 18 All OK with drivers. NKC elements do not have logo and on Windows and they are displayed as question mark. Look if drivers are installed. If installed then with drivers everything well. You have all ARCNET connections ( except processor board ) , so drivers are installed and work. Do not need load any backups. It will not help. You didn't write minilab model, so impossible to say how ARCNET is connected and which connectors you need to check.
Mat Posted September 21 Author Report Posted September 21 Hello Every one, First I apologise for this late answer, I thought tha I will have a pop message when someone response to my topic until I décide tonhave a look on m'y topic and realize that ther is already answers. Thanks for your interest to my need. The minilab is NORITSU QSS2901 What am I verify to resolve this? Thanks a lot Mat
Minilab service Posted September 21 Report Posted September 21 Now can look what can be and you have no to search connectors, which do not exist. Do not need to check anything on printer control pcb. There everything work well. Look if on processor control pcb on connector J/P514 contact 1 you have 5V . It is enough to have ARCNET connection. On processor control pcb check ARCNET connectors - J/P517 and J/P518 . Clean connectors and trim ends of ARCNET cables ( straight, 90 degrees ) . On computer ARCNET board processor ARCNET cables connect to pair, which is 100 % working. Swap ARCNET cables with cables from some other board. On conmputer side clean ARCNET connectors and trim ends of ARCNET cables comming from processor pcb. If all did and still have error then might be faulty processor control pcb ( J390532 ) .
Mat Posted September 28 Author Report Posted September 28 Good morning ! First thank for your help , the problem was not drivers MINILAB SERVICE said; I cleaned and trim the ARCNET optical câble as you suggested and the Processor PCB ARCNET Communication error did was resolved, now we can see Processor temperature and commande somme Processor elements like pump, fan and other. thanks very much for that. But our Minilab still not working because after that we have an other ARCNET Communication error with IMAGE PROCESSOR PCBP this time. I thought we can resolved it like we resolved the same problem with the Processor, but after days on trying and trying again and again to Clean and trim the Image Processor PCB cables at both PC and Image Processor PCB side but we did not succeded to resolve that Image Processor PCB ARCNET Communication error ; we chek also all volts +5V, +15V, -15V as suggested by PHOTOLABPART adn other like +24V, +36V, +3,3V , control also all power supply themselves and all are good and IMAGE PROCESSOR PCB ARCNET COMMUNICATION ERROR still their; On testing we mesure 0,6V to the SUPER CAPACITOR C5( which is a 5,5V 1.0mF) on Image Processor PCB (J390632-2). Is our IMAGE PROCESSOR PCB ARCNET COMMUNICATION ERROR problem caused by this 0,6V on the Supper Capacitor C5 on Image Processor PCB. I thing that this supercapacitor maintains power to retain some data on the Image Processor PCB, and that this data might be lost as the suppercapacitor is at 0,6V. Could you please give that data and help me understand what data is maintained by this suppercapacitor, and explain me how to restore or reload it back onto the Image Processor PCB after replacing the supercapacitor C5? (Sorry for the long message it because I try to give much information and not to risk to lose somme important informations) Thanks Mat
Minilab service Posted September 28 Report Posted September 28 As I wrote before ignore what wrote PHOTOLABPART . Your minilab doesn't have all connectors, which he wrote here. He wrote about different minilab. To have ARCNET communication with image processing pcb this board should be working, should have power supply and have good ARCNET connection. J390632 has no removable RAM, so nothing to change on it. Board has only one power supply : 5V on connector J/P205 ( between pin 1 and 4 ) . On J390632 check 5V power supply . Make sure, that you see light from ARCNET output sensor ( TOTX111 ) Clean ARCNET sensors. Trim ARCNET cable ends ( straight, 90 degrees ) On computer connect image processing ARCNET cables to ARCNET sensors, which are 100 % working ( swap with some other ) . If board is faulty then need change it. If will need I have working J390632 .
