osbdr555 Posted September 23 Report Posted September 23 Hi, I have an SP500 that didn't come with a PC or Software, just the scanner itself. Before I do anything I wanted to check whether the SP500 stores calibration data in the scanner itself like the SP3000? Do I need to somehow backup the data from the SP500 when I have it connected to software before I do anything else so I don't lose or overwrite the calibration data. If Yes, I assume I do this through the software in the Maintenence Menu depending on version? Thanks, David
TECNOR Posted September 23 Report Posted September 23 (edited) if the scanner film work without problem dont need to do backup. Edited September 23 by TECNOR
Minilab service Posted September 23 Report Posted September 23 You need to MAKE scanner backup. Can make it on scanner maintenance menu. It is necessary to have scanner backup file. On this file are all scanner settings. If something wrong, or need to change a board you have what to load. If the film scanner works without problem do not need to LOAD scanner backup.
