  3. I think any version works on any windows or at least on Windows 10 which is what I have, you just have to go to the task panel and close all printer processes like printing monitor for example or you get a communications error or something like that. I was on your situation and downloaded a super old version (1.0.0 I believe?) for free from archive.org which is probably older than the one you got from ebay and used it to reset the ink tube counter. If you need the software for anything else than resetting counters, I'm sure someone should be able to help.

  4. Pump part no. I012064-00 had been replaced by latest part no. I012155-00. Model is PDD-20, a 24V pump by " Sanso Electric Co. Ltd. " suffix H, C or 1R ... I think not important at all. Perhap you can find more information from their website.

    Epson SL d1000 problem

Yes a lot of my customers highly rate the Canon poster printers also, like you say the easy to removable print heads makes so much sense. It's a shame Canon don't make an equivalent printer to the Epson d1000. If they did. and it also had a user replaceable printhead, I think it would be a winner.

  6. you are 100% correct, we are now replacing our new large format from Epson with Canon, with Epson all problem is always the same, pump and capping unit, we try 1 canon printer, and so far we have great experience, the printer can maintain by it self, printhead is easy to replace and one big thing, they give us lifetime warranty for printhead as long we are using OEM inks (we always use OEM inks)

  7. i guess they didn't solved a weak pump.....mostly the printhead is fine, the pump is the problem, but because of execive cleaning, it will kill the printhead. never do normal cleaning more than 3 times in a a row, always let the printer rest for a while betwen cycle, and do not do power cleaning more than 1x in a row, let it rest overnight betwen cycle

On motor driver should be : power suppliers ( 24V and 5V ) ON signal ( to turn on motor ) DIR signal ( which direction motor has to rotate ) CLK signal ( pulses, frequency depends what motor speed should be ) Might be too low power suppliers, missing ON signal, or missing CTL signal. Power suppliers and control signals - connector PDB12 ( on PDB23 board ) . If have all signals, but motor doesn't rotate then can be : Faulty motor driver Faulty motor ( hall effect sensor inside it ) Mechanical problem ( motor overloaded and can't move processor racks - especially when speed is lower ) .

  11. That is correct, the stuttering sound on these is normal, it is just slowly moving the paper bit by bit until it reaches the paper sensor.

  12. @Pat Heuvel Try to push and hold rear cover toward the front of the printer while loading the paper until it is done. Sometime rear covers get loose and can't apply necessary pressure.

  14. I have Konica software. As I wrote before it works on any Windows - 32 bit and 64 bit. On my computer 64 bits and software perfectly works there ( dongle is bypassed ) . Only scanner and dongle drivers have limits. They created to work on 32 bit systems. So if to Konica software want connect scanner then necessary to use 32 bit Windows. On my example - scanner connected to computer where used W10 32 bit. With 32 bit Windows can't use very new computers with the latest chipsets ( because chipsets have not 32 bit drivers ) . Coffee Lake chipsets (300 series - B365, H310, Z370 and other ) are the latest, which have 32 bit drivers. Processors - 9th generation (Coffee Lake Refresh) . They are about 2 years old. Can use them, or older.

  15. Yes, EZ controller perfectly works on Windows 7 x64 and Windows 10 x64. All EZ controller versions work with QSS3501 PLUS. The latest version is 6.60. To install on new Windows EZ controller not enough - might be you have upgrade system software ( depends which version you have ) . I can offer latest EZ controller and latest system software. They work on any system ( from W2K to Windows 10 x64 ) . You can use your dongle. Your choice which Windows to use. Write private message, if you need them. Also have manuals for these software. If need can help to transfer your system to new computer.
