    Laser

    Probably you replaced G laser head and position is incorrect. Go to maintenance menu and make position adjustment ( rough and fine ) . If it will not be enough - need make laser position alignment.

  3. Hi all! I got around to swapping that RTC chip out and it fixed our issue. The controller now keeps the time, and temperature settings as it should! Thanks again for the advice!

  5. The 1% difference is label change from HS-1800 to S-1800! Yes, it looks good, as Minilab service has said the uniformity is not perfect, but it is not bad either (rarely is it perfect on an HS-1800). If you set the shading to on you should get perfectly straight lines (assuming the scanner calibration has been done).

  6. Look light source uniformity, LED intensity values and gain values in all 4 channels. Look on both zoom rates. Then can see how good is light source.

  7. There is 24 pin socket, so it is easy replace chip. Chips are PCDIP24 ( M48T86PC1 ) or 24-EDIP ( DS12C887 ) . Old board chip battery will be old and discharged. Better to buy new chip. It is cheap. DS12C887 and DS12C887+ are absolutely the same. Just DS12C887+ has lead free pins. Chip sells Analog Devices, but it has Dallas logo. Dallas was sold to Maxim Integrated. Latter Analog Devices bough Maxim Integrated. Now Dallas and Maxim - part of Analog devices.   9. Yes, real time clock chip has internal Lithium battery. Usually chip is ST M48T86PC1 . Even on chip cover written, that chip contains lithium cell. On service manual real time chip is Maxim DS12C887 . ST M48T86PC1 and Maxim DS12C887 are obsoleted. Both they have substitute Analog Devices DS12C887+ . Easy can find to buy it and replace on processor cpu pcb.

  12. The diameter of these rollers is slightly larger than the correct diameter, which is why black edges appear. The correct diameter of the drive rollers is 9.8 mm. Sorry, 9,8 mm is for AFC135/240. For LS-600 diameter is 12,0 mm

    What is this paper maker and paper type? Which profile letter you have selected? How your LP2500 is connected - to scanner ( SP2500 ) , or FMPC? What software and versions installed on server, FMPC and scanner? Your mate paper ( where printed well ) and glossy paper ( where on black area do not see steps ) has the same brand and the same type ( for example Fujifilm Crystal Archive New ) ?

    The readings for last steps are way off. The values should not be higher than 2.55. 4.00 is a false reading value. Try gently cleaning your calibration plate with liquid soap and water. If the values for the last steps do not go lower, replace the calibration plate with a new one.
