  1. If solenoids works on output check mode means 24 volts is ok. It seems that the problem is mechanical alignment. Try this, remove the dryer rack from the machine and put it on top of a table where you can visually see all mechanical parts. Move the solenoid responsible for the paper that guides going up or down. While moving the solenoid manually, visually check the guide if it is moving perfectly, if not check from there what is the problem, probably it was not in its proper position. 


  2. Probably not original but it doesn't matter now because the problem was solved by changing the laser module. $1K is much cheaper than refurbished laser unit. If this gun will going to lasts for 2 years then it is more than enough. The customer is making a lot of money for this machine. $1K of Gun every year is nothing. No need to argue if it is original or not because for sure it is not because it came from China. Thanks again for your useful information. I am learning so much from this forum. 

  3. I want to update you regarding this issue!  Replaced yesterday the Green laser head from Showa to Shimadzu with the original driver from Noritsu J391160 and Synchronous sensor error disappear. Printer is back to life. Once again thanks for the help. Till the next topic.

    • H: G laser driver (J391231)

    • I: G laser driver (J391160)

    So your laser unit now is B1.

    H because the installed driver and the laser is J391231. but as I said again and again, the previous laser head and factory installed green laser is Shimadzu with J391160 driver and for sure the letter I will display in system version check.

  5. Minilab service I think you are right. The J391231 that came with the green laser gun has no CN4 but the R54 is in the right place. This Pcb has also a sticker with Chinese characters. As I remember my customer purchase the laser gun with a driver less than $1000. 

    Did any of you can analyse the values of diagnosis that I have attached? 


  6. Can anyone analyze the values below when laser diagnostic performed of the printer  that had an error of synchronous sensor error? These values below has no error but maybe somebody can tell that these values of green will help to identify the real  problem of the green laser,


  7. Minilab service: I don't knew if the Showa I installed is Made in China or not. As you have said, it might be not original because I really measured 7.3mV. I want to ask you if there is any chance of having faulty on laser control board? Because why when shutting down the printer for a couple of minutes and turning On again then the printer works perfectly. 


  8. G laser head should work on laser driver pin 2 have 0 V , but on resistor have not voltage then something wrong with laser head, bad connection between them, or faulty laser driver.

    If when laser works on laser driver pin 2 have not 0 V then laser control doesn't work properly.

    Minilab service, can you elaborate further what did you mean about your quote aboved?
